“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek for all the barriers within youself that you have built against it”
Rumi
Life is hard…
We didn’t come to earth with an instruction manual, a guiding book about how life works, how life is not linear, with its ups and downs, and how We operate as well. We have learnt many things at school, lots of general knowledge about history, geography, mathematics, physics, economy, literature etc. , but we weren’t taught how to live, how to live well, how to deal with every day’s life challenges or with conflicting relationships; and maybe most importantly how to live with our own self.
How did it all start?
I am French, I grew up in the city that most foreigners dream of: Paris, city of light, city of love. When I was 14, my parents moved to India and stayed there for 10 years. It was during my teenage years, the period where we shape our personality, where we begin to question life, thinking that nothing is impossible! and as for me, wondering already how to lead a deep, rich and meaningful life.
I didn’t want to die, like most, without having actually lived. It was important for me to find my own way; a path that would fulfill me while respecting the harmony of the world around me. I wanted to acquire the interior freedom that we have seen in so many great leaders such as Nelson Mandela, Gandhi and Martin Luther King. I was lucky to realize soon enough, that mastering your internal life is perhaps one of today’s greatest skill.
I am constantly seeking to improve who I am as a human being. Every day, I am taking another step to consume more consciously, more sustainably; because as human beings we are a piece of the whole ecosystem. Therefore, it is our responsibility, each one of us, to preserve the planet* for the greater good.
Being sensitive by nature, with a mix of introversion (having this tendency to internalize everything) / extroversion (being spontaneous and curious), I took the habit of observing and questioning everything around me, analyzing all the data within its context to make my own opinion.
Because of my upbringing, which I would call a mixture of scientific with skepticism, I did’nt want to accept any belief, dogma or anything already established without asking if it was still relevant and applicable. I decided to believe only what I would have experienced and felt right to me, no matter what the others said.
So while I was spending all my holidays in India, I began my spiritual quest. It all started because of India, an incredibly rich and spiritual culture that taught me many lessons about life such as acceptance, compassion, patience, diversity, happiness.
A couple of years later, it was followed by the discovery of Buddhism whose philosophy resonated with me. I identified with it because it taught me to take responsibility for my own life. I didn’t need to give away my personal power. It taught me how to train my mind, thoughts and emotions so that “I” am in control and not the other way around.
From there, I began to study everything that was related to this topic, from ancient Greek philosophy, Taoism, psychology, but also today’s leading business influencers, spiritual leaders, philosophers, transformational coaches, writers … Each lesson and best practice I learned from them, whether through books, seminars, podcasts, meetings, and that I found relevant to my life, well-being or health, I applied into my life.
From Paris, to Asia, New York and Brazil, I kept challenging myself, assuming different positions, in different areas (luxury, financial market, entrepreneurship), with cultural gaps.
All of these teachings contributed to my philosophy of life, to who I am today. I made the most of each experience and integrated it into my personality, as a way of living.
Constant adaptation and reinvention of the self is not easy. It creates a great deal of stress and anxiety. To tackle these, I furthered my understanding and learning on how mind and emotions influence our life experience. Then I worked on how to direct them to get what i wanted in life, in order to be happy and fulfilled.
As a consequence, I sought concrete practices such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness to help me in this direction. For the past 8 years, I have been practicing these disciplines daily as a lifestyle. It has radically transformed my life in terms of being able to cope with destructive emotions and with our constant internal dialogue.
Gradually, I opened to other integrative, evidence-based therapies such as ayurveda, aromatherapy, homeopathy ; because I understood that we are a whole: mind / body / spirit. Everything is interconnected, intertwined, each influencing, balancing or unbalancing the entire ecosystem.
There is one rule that I apply when choosing what to consume, be it food, therapies, cosmetics: it must be natural, sustainable and the choice must be made consciously.

A Healthy Influence
“When work doesn’t feel like work, when work is already your life, when what you do is who you are…”
Caroline Fesson
As Steve Jobs would say, “There is work and there is the work of your life. The kind of job that has your fingerprints everywhere. The kind of work you would never compromise. ” This is how “A Healthy Influence”, my brand is born, following the Japanese concept of Ikigai, which means: “A reason for being.”
Doing what you love, offering services that are needed and asked for, contributing to others, respecting the environment and having adequate financial returns; this is the perfect equation for a successful and fulfilling life.
the premises of “A Healthy Influence”
Prevention and Health
I believe in prevention; avoiding excessive accumulation through constant physical, mental and emotional cleansing in order to maintain high nivels of energy and strong immune system, to be happy and productive.
From my point of view, there are 4 decisive factors that determine the quality of our health and our life: what we eat, how we exercise, how we sleep, how we handle our thoughts and emotions. Are those habits healthy? or are they detrimental not only to our own health but also, being aware of it or not, have a negative impact on our relationships.
What we eat is, I believe, what has the greatest impact on the quality of our lives. Having the right diet is the essence of disease prevention and the foundation of a healthy and happy life. A proper diet is balanced and based on natural and nutritious foods. It keeps the body light, flexible and calms the mind. Plant-based diet, besides being the healthiest diet, in my opinion, also brings the widest range of flavors, diversity and creativity.
Self healing
I believe in the intelligence of our body to heal itself, given the right conditions and the right environment, getting to the root of the problem and removing it. I believe in self healing through a natural and integrative approach to health.
Science shows that every organ in the human body has the ability to heal itself, given the right conditions:
– Some are environmental: water quality, air quality, food quality
– Some are chemical: the supplements we take, some of the herbal products our ancestors understood and used.
– Some are from our internal environment: Buddha said, “All men and women are the architects of their own healing and their own destiny.”
“The body is capable of miraculous things. It is an intelligent system, deeply connected to our minds and the world around us and brilliantly designed to self-regulate and heal. By detoxifying our environment, the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink and the products we use, we support the healing process. And as we go beyond the physical and improve our internal environment, our thoughts, beliefs and emotions, we can change our lives and help in powerful ways. And It’s All About Faith Whether it’s faith in God, faith in medicine, faith in our body’s ability to heal, or a combination of all three. If we believe, we can achieve it. We live in a world of infinite possibilities. Choose and focus on the possibility you want. Don’t get sucked into fear of what you don’t want. We have the power to heal. “

Inner peace
“Within you is a stillness and sanctuary to which you can withdraw at any moment and be yourself.”
I believe the transformation of the world, a better world to live in, comes from the transformation of the self. We cannot reach peace in the world, in our relationships, without inner-peace, without knowing how to deal with our own thoughts, emotions and frustrations.
